Arkansas FFA Hosts 2025 Statewide Shooting Sports Contest
JACKSONVILLE, AR (November 21, 2025) – More than 520 FFA members from 42 chapters across Arkansas gathered at the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation Shooting Sports Complex in Jacksonville for the 2025 Arkansas FFA Shooting Sports Contest. This statewide event, hosted in partnership with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, provided students with hands-on opportunities to learn and practice safe, responsible shooting techniques while developing skills aligned to careers in the Natural Resources Career Pathway.
The Arkansas FFA Association and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission recognize that today’s youth will become tomorrow’s sportsmen and conservation leaders. Shooting sports—when practiced safely—offer opportunities for recreation, personal growth, and confidence-building. The annual contest aims to promote firearm safety, conservation awareness, and responsible sportsmanship, all within a structured and educational environment.
